The Vista Grande Park Improvements Project transformed a longβunused 17βacre site into a vibrant, landscapeβrich community park featuring expansive open lawns, droughtβtolerant planting areas, and new shadeβproviding trees integrated throughout the site. The design incorporates a droughtβtolerant demonstration garden and new landscaping woven around recreational elements to create a cohesive, parkβwide ecological framework. Trails with exercise stations, picnic areas, and gathering spaces are set within newly landscaped grounds, while lighting and pathways are arranged to enhance accessibility and visual continuity across the park. These improvements convert the previously vacant terrain into a structured, sustainable, and multifunctional landscape that supports community use and ecological resilience.
